In 1980, I was on the path to become a graphic design artist. Armed with a passion for creativity, I immersed myself in the classic tools and techniques of the era, learning to bring ideas to life with nothing but my hands, a steady vision, and a heart full of ambition. Those were the days when design was as much about craftsmanship as it was about creativity, where each brushstroke, pen line, and layout was a deliberate act of expression.
Fast forward over 40 years, and that dream has not only endured, it has evolved in ways I could have never imagined. Today, I find myself at the forefront of a new artistic revolution, embracing cutting-edge AI technology to explore boundless creative possibilities. This is more than a continuation of my journey; it’s a rebirth. With tools that blend human ingenuity and artificial intelligence, I can now express my imagination with unprecedented freedom, pushing the boundaries of what art can be.

From the time I was a child, my imagination was larger than life. While other kids had imaginary friends, I had an imaginary company, an entire world I would talk about as if it truly existed. Creating stories, places, and characters in my mind was second nature, and to me they felt as real as anything around me. As I grew older, that spark never dimmed, though I often struggled to translate my imagination into traditional art forms. I tried music, theatre, and writing, but I never quite found my place in those worlds. I had the ideas, but not the natural-born skill or the patience to bring them to life.
Technology changed everything. I had always been drawn to computers and video games, fascinated by the way they allowed me to step into other realities and explore limitless possibilities. When AI art tools first emerged, I realized I had finally found what I had been searching for my entire life: a way to bring my imagination into the world. Prompting AI became a new kind of paintbrush, one that let me create the stories and visions I had always carried inside me but could never fully express until now.
I have nothing but deep respect for artists of every medium, for the talents they are born with, the years of dedication they pour into their craft, and the originality they bring to human expression. I believe all art is part of an unbroken chain, each piece building on those who came before, from the cave walls of our ancestors to the digital canvases of today. AI does not replace creativity; it expands it, opening doors for dreamers like me who have always needed a new kind of tool to connect imagination with reality.
